Is the MAKITA HR2470 SDS + any good at chiseling out red brick walls ?????

ok ive just started as a apprentice electrician, and we fully rewire a house every day and i want a fairly cheap drill that i can use to do the chiseling for me, ive noticed this drill, and that it comes with a chisel piece but a guy i work with said they are rubbish and will just break is this true??? because it is designed for chiseling so why would it break?? also i have used a very simular drill before for the same thing and it worked fine and the guy had had it for a while?? also what setting do it put it on for chiseling hammer, or rotary hammer???? please answer????

Bearing in mind this is a drilling machine and not a demolition machine yes it will do chasing and box cutting etc but dont expect it to do that all day. The gearbox will get quite hot and you will find thet the grease will soften to the extent that it will run out so you need to keep an eye on that and regrease as needed.
