Dewalt cordless drill and rock drilling.?
I have a cave that Im trying to rig drops in and I was curious as to if I could use a standard cordless dewalt drill to drill a 2-3in deep hole in limestone. I usually drill the holes then hammer the bolts in with the anchor. Can I use a standard dewalt cordless drill for this job? How long you think the job will take to drill a hole that deep in that type of rock with that sorta drill? What kinda bit do I need?
I dont destroy caves i make them accessible
Limestone is pretty soft so that might work. Don't get too attached to your drill bits though! But please, try to destroy as little of the cave as possible. Caves are cool.
