How many milliamps is the original power adapter for a Black & Decker 9089 drill and is it tip + or -?

I just purchased a generic power adapter to replace the one I have lost for this drill. Though I know the voltage, how many milliamps are required and should the tip be positive or negative?

Black and Decker

Once again I want to write about a product that I love and it's called the Black and Decker Cordless weedeater.  I'm not sure exactly when I bought my first one but immediately after my first use of the weedeater I loved the product.  At the time everything was great when using this tool except that it was a little awkward to put the battery on.  My sister also purchased one at the time and had the same problem.  I had to ask for my husband's help which cut back on my weedeating time.

I thought at the time if only they could come up with a more user friendly battery application but I still loved the way the weedeater worked and the fact that it was lightweight compared to a gas operated weedeater. 

One day my weedeater stopped working and I knew I would buy a new  one and the brand would be Black and Decker.  I would have to continue to ask my husband to help me with the battery insertion but it would be worth it because when this little machine worked it worked well.

Through the years as other people can relate I've tried many different products and I've found it worthwhile to go through the duds to find that product that actually works. 

My sister called me one afternoon to offer her battery for her weedeater since she had purchased a new one to see if that was why my weedeater had stopped working.  She mentioned that her new Black and Decker weedeater had a new and improved battery insertion system.  I was both thrilled and skeptical but I had decided to purchase another Black and Decker weedeater anyway so I would find how much of an improvement they had made.

My husband and I bought the new model it came with two rechargeable batteries which I found great, the price was reasonable, and last but not least the battery was extremely easy to insert!  Thank you Black and Decker for doing it right.  With the two battery easy install system I can weedeat even longer.
