Are dewalt drills good?
I've managed to burn out the motor on my black and decker drill whilst fitting door closers to fire doors and am needing to replace it.
I know dewalt are owned by black and decker and was just wondering if their corded drills were any good, i bought a cordless drill from dewalt for £200 and managed to fuck it within a month.
So are their electric drills any good and are they better than the cordless ones?

im a builder in the uk ..and yes black and decker do own dewalt ..but that's where the tie ends ...i personally wont touch black and decker except for workmates ..whereas i have had a dewalt drill / driver for more than ten years ...its put in over 250.000 screws ...its never let me down and although there is a bit of wear in the chuck it still works perfectly ...iv been buying tools for over 40 years ...bought every type ..and the dewalt comes out top
